Katie Ballalatak is new staff writer at The Chronicle

The McLeod County Chronicle announces the addition of Katie Ballalatak as a staff writer.
Ballalatak will be covering the Glencoe City Council, the Glencoe-Silver Lake School Board and will be writing feature stories for The Chronicle.
Ballalatak is a resident of Arlington. She graduated this spring from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in English and a business-focused minor. Her journalism experience includes a past internship with lifestyle magazine Minnesota Monthly and a current freelance writing position for the New Ulm diocese monthly newspaper, The Prairie Catholic.
Besides writing, her hobbies include reading, singing, going to concerts with friends and running the Arlington branch of Jump 4 Joy, a local seasonal dance ministry for girls.
