Kevin Kuester learned plenty on school board
Looking back over a dozen years on the Glencoe-Silver Lake School Board, he learned plenty about how public education works and what makes a school system run. Last week, Kevin Kuester bid his colleagues on the board farewell after a dozen years of service.
Kuester finished fourth in the race for three seats Nov. 3. He attended his final board meeting last month. Kuester’s parting words were to encourage board members to continue doing the best they could to run the district during the ongoing pandemic, a challenge that will test the resiliency and creativity of teachers and administrators alike
