Over 170 students and family members turned out Tuesday, Feb. 21, for the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) family night at Glencoe-Silver Lake Lakeside Elementary students. A wide variety of activities and projects were offered. Pictured, Beth Anderson and son Holden collaborate on a project. Other activities included bobbing for apples, origami, dancing raisins and 3D math, “Minecraft,” catapults, peppermint races, building landmarks and engineering challenges.
