Letter-carriers bring in food for food shelf
Letter-carriers from Glencoe and Hutchinson post offices picked up almost two tons of donated canned and dry goods for the McLeod Emergency Food Shelf Saturday. Residents left donated food items at the mail box to be picked up. Based on the number of people using the food shelf, the donated food will last just a few days, according to Lennie Albers, the food shelf’s executive director.
