Marcella Hausauer, 76, Bismarck, N.D.

Marcella “Marci” Hau-sauer, 76, of Bismarck, N.D., died Sept. 17, 2014, at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.
The funeral service was Sunday, Sept. 21, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Bismarck with the Rev. Nadine Lehr officiating.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Bismarck.
Marci Hausauer was born Aug. 8, 1938, in Morris, the daughter of Edward and Lillian (Timmerman) Knopp. She grew up and attended schools in the Hancock area. She graduated from West Central School of Agriculture in Morris in 1956, and the Swedish Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis in 1959.
On Sept. 5, 1959, she married Kenneth Dammann in Morris. The couple made their home in Minneapolis, where she worked as registered nurse for several hospitals and clinics in the Twin Cities area. In 1976, the family moved to Bismarck. In 1977, she began her career with the University of North Dakota Family Practice Center as a nurse until her retirment in 1998.
On March 4, 1988, she married John Hausauer at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Bismarck.
She enjoyed reading, baking, canning and was especially known for her pickles, as well as being an avid gardener.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy (Todd) Brady; grandchildren, Leah (Eric) Smith, Bismarck, and Nick (Hannah) Brady, Coon Rapids; and great-grandchildren, Kieran, Claire and Emily Smith.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Kenneth (July 5, 1986) and John (Feb. 16, 1997); her son, John (June 29, 1979); and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe given to Lord of Life Church, 1143 N 26th St., Bismarck, N.D. 58501.
