Margaret Mary Parker, 79, of Glencoe

Margaret Mary “Muggs” (Beer) Parker, 79, of Glencoe, formerly of Le Center, was taken to her heavenly home March 18, 2014, in Lithia, Fla.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Monday, March 31, at All Saints Catholic Church,  Lakeville.
Burial was in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Margaret Beer was born at home in Le Center on May 23, 1934, to Louis and Frances (Tambornino) Beer.  A graduate of Le Center High School, she went on to earn her bachelor of science degree in home economics at the University of Minnesota.
She was a proud member of the GOB Sorority and attended Founders day yearly with Sally Fritze.
She is survived by her loving children, Teressa and Timothy Parker and Maria Schaff; grandchildren, Victoria, Abigail and Coulton Parks and Katherine and Christina Parker; dear friend and sorority sister, Sally Fritze; siblings, George Beer of Le Center, Marie Miller of St. Peter, Louise Johnson of St. Peter, Jean Kauffman of Arlington and Joan Johengen of Hackensack; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her loving husband, Virgil L. Parker; grandson, Maxwell Parks; daughter-in-law, Heather Parker; and siblings, Eddie, George and Charles Beer and Catherine Hagel.
