Commissioners Meeting Minutes 1/16/18

Commissioners Nagel, Wright, Shimanski and Krueger were present.
Wright/Krueger motion carried unanimously to approve the agenda.
Shimanski/Pohlmeier motion approved the consent agenda including January 2, 2018 Meeting Minutes and Synopsis; December 29, 2017 Auditor’s Warrants; January 5, 2018 Auditor’s Warrants; Approve payment of annual membership to Pact for Families Children’s Mental Health and Family Collaborative of $36,651 from Social Services; Approve technology agreement between McLeod County Public Health and Supporting Hands Nurse-Family Partnership; Approve request from Brian Gatz of a 1-Lot Sketch Plan in the SW ¼ SW ¼ Section 11, Bergen Township; Approve request from David Swift of Conditional Use Permit 17-23 on behalf of St. John’s Church (Biscay)to expand a legal non-conforming use (church) located in the “A” Agricultural District in order to add a manufactured structure to north side of the existing church for the purpose of creating a Sunday school facility; Approve request from Donald and Kari Artmann of a Preliminary/Final Plat for the Re-Platof Lot 1, Block 1, Watry's Subdivision and a small tract to be known as ARTMANN ACRES located within the SW ¼ of SE ¼ in Section 34 of Winsted Township.
Nagel/Shimanski motion carried unanimously to approve agreement between McLeod County Public Health and Hutchinson Health outlining payment for services rendered by provider related to Tuberculosis.
Wright/Shimanski motion carried unanimously to approve County Engineer/Public Works Director position in Public Works Department at a grade 250.
Krueger/Wright motion carried unanimously to approve Assistant County Engineer/Deputy Public Works Director position in Public Works Department at a grade 210.
Nagel/Wright motion carried unanimously to committee
assignments as presented.
