STATE OF MINNESOTA
COUNTY OF MCLEOD
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
YOU ARE HEREBY notified that the regular meeting of the McLeod County Planning Commission has been scheduled on Wednesday the 27th day of September 2017 at 9:30 A.M. at the North Complex (Driver License Center) North Half - Large Conference Room (south side of Bldg) at 2391 Hennepin Avenue North in Glencoe, Minnesota. THE PURPOSE OF THE SAID MEETING is to consider the following applications located in the County of McLeod and filed with the County Zoning Administrator. All requests are subject to modification during the hearing process.
1. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT requested by Joe Wuetherich for a new Feedlot to be registered or permitted having < (40) acres under their ownership at the proposed facility.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said request is located is described as follows: 6.54 AC-That Part NE¼ SE¼ & 1 AC NW¼ SE ¼, Sec 3, Twp. 114-29 (Penn).
2. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT requested by Randy and Dillan Peterson on property owned by Gary Hemmann for gravel mining, screening and stockpiling.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said request is located is described as follows: 5 AC of 159.80 AC SE 1/4 EX TRIANG TRACT IN NW CORNER NW 1/4 SE 1/4 (TH #22 -7.78 AC) in Sec 16, Twp. 116-29 (Hassan Valley).
THESE HEARINGS will be held by the McLeod County Planning Commission at which time you may appear if you desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or support of the proposed application. Thereafter, the McLeod County Planning Commission shall forward its recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners. If you desire to provide comments or objections to the Planning Commission's recommendations, you may take your request to the County Board which has the final authority to act on the findings of the Planning Commission.
