McLeod County- Ordinance

McLeod County

The City Council of the City of Glencoe ordains:
Section 1: Chapter 203B of the Glencoe Municipal Code is established to read in its entirety as follows:
203B The City of Glencoe hereby establishes the following Specifications for Cross Connections and Backflow Prevention.
203B.01 Background: The United States Congress enacted the Safe Drinking Water act (PL 93¬532) into law on December 16, 1974. Minnesota achieved primacy for the Safe Drinking Water Act in 1976. 203B.02 Purpose: The purpose of this specification is:
To carry out the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act (PL 93532) and the Minnesota Department of Health chapters 4720 and 4714.
