YOU ARE HEREBY notified that the regular meeting of the McLeod County Planning Advisory Commission has been scheduled on Wednesday the 22nd day of August 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at McLeod County Environmental Services Facility, Large Conference Room, located at 1065 5th Ave SE, Hutchinson, Minnesota 55350.
THE PURPOSE OF SAID MEETING is to consider the following applications located in the County of McLeod and filed with the County Director of Environmental Services. All requests are subject to modification during the hearing process. Complete legal descriptions are on file in the Zoning Office.
1) A CONDITIONAL USE application by Northern Natural Gas on property owned by Donald Mielke to construct a new natural gas regulating site to be above ground and outside the CR 15 Road Right-of Way (ROW) and to be located in the NE ¼ NE ¼ of Section 36 in Twp 117-28 (Hale.).
2) A CONDITIONAL USE application by Michelle Waldner for farm equipment and recreational vehicles, mechanical or body repair shops (Auto & Motorcycle repair shop & sales) to be located within 7.50AC of the SE ¼ of the NE ¼ N of HWY (TH#22) of Sec 9 Twp 115-28 (Glencoe.).
3) A CONDITIONAL USE application by Helen Solar LLC, Fremont CA, on property owned by Dennis & Roberta Lilienthal for the Essential Services of a 4 Megawatt Solar Garden and to be located in the Agricultural District within 30 Acres of a 160 Acre parcel in the NE ¼ of Section 10, Twp 115-27 (Helen.).
4) A CONDITIONAL USE application by Michael Loncorich for the renewal of an existing gravel mining operation to include, mining, crushing and stockpiling of materials and recyclables. Upon restoration, it will be used for farmland purposes. The property location is the W ½ NW ¼ lying NE’ly of Buffalo Creek of Sections 26 and 27 in Twp 115-30 (Collins.).
5) A 1-LOT PRELIMINARY PLAT by Greg Witt on property owned by Baumann Family Partnership to be known as “Baumann Extension” and to be located in Section 9 of Twp 115-28 (Glencoe.).
THESE HEARINGS will be held by the McLeod County Planning Commission at which time you may appear if you desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or support of the proposed application. Thereafter, the McLeod County Planning Commission shall forward its recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners. If you desire to provide comments or objections to the recommendations of the Planning Commission, you may take your request to the County Board which has the final authority to act on the findings of the Planning Commission.
