Mueller new Chronicle Editor

The McLeod County Chronicle has added John Mueller to its editorial team.
Mueller started as the Chronicle's Editor on Aug. 8.
His main beats will be the Glencoe City Council and Glencoe-Silver Lake School Board.
Mueller brings over 30 years of reporting experience to the Chronicle. His resume includes 11 years at the Belle Plaine Herald and 19 years with Southwest Suburban working as a news and sports reporter and photographer at several of the company’s weekly publications in Shakopee, Savage, Prior Lake, Eden Prairie and Chaska.
A native of St. Paul, Mueller began his career in Visalia, Calf. as a part-time sports writer. He graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Mueller and his wife live in rural Belle Plaine. They have two adult children.
