New courtesy car

At the Glencoe City Council meeting Monday, the Glencoe EAA Chapter UL 92 presented a check in the amount of $500 to the city of Glencoe as a donation toward the purchase of a replacement courtesy car at the Glencoe Airport. In 2016, the Glencoe Airport Commission purchased a replacement vehicle. Inasmuch as the city’s parks department has helped out the EAA chapter for its annual Young Eagles events and fly-ins, the chapter decided to donate toward the replacement vehicle.
