NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

YOU ARE HEREBY notified that the regular meeting of the McLeod County Planning Commission has been scheduled on Wednesday, the 24th day of May 2017 at 9:30 A.M. at Glencoe City Center, 1107 11th Street East, Glencoe, Minnesota 55336.
THE PURPOSE OF THE SAID MEETING is to consider the following applications located in the County of McLeod and filed with the County Zoning Administrator.  All requests are subject to modification during the hearing process.  
1. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT by Matt & Amanda Dammann on property owned by Delmer Schmidt for a second home dwelling for family care in the SW ¼ SW ¼ & Lot 5 in Sec. 35 of Twp. 116-28 (Rich Valley).
2. A REQUEST TO REZONE  by BW Gateway Holdings (Yamaha Motorsports) from Agricultural District to Industrial District in the E 60’ of the S 420’ SE ¼ SW ¼ & W 420’ of SW ¼ SE ¼ (3.60 Acres total) in Sec. 35 of Twp. 117-29 (Hutchinson).
3. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT by Dustin & Erica Bentz for a second home dwelling for family care in the SW COR N ½ S ½ SW ¼ in Sec. 1 of Twp. 116-27 (Bergen).
4. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT by Jeremy Pierson for an accessory structure to be > 2,400 sq. ft. on a parcel < 10 AC within 4.41 AC of That Part of the NE ¼ NW ¼ (HWY 7 - .07 AC) in Sec. 6 of Twp. 116-28 (Rich Valley).
5. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT by Dan Steele for an accessory addition in which the combined square footage shall not exceed 2,000 sq. ft. of floor area per lot in R-1 District in Heller’s ADD Lot-004 Block-001, Sec. 3 of Twp. 117-30 (Acoma).
6. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT by Fahey Equities in order to fill in a portion of a 100 Year Floodplain within the NW ¼ SE ¼ of Sec. 18 of Twp. 115-27 (Helen.)
THESE HEARINGS will be held by the McLeod County Planning Commission at which time you may appear if you desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or support of the proposed application. Thereafter, the McLeod County Planning Commission shall forward its recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners.  If you desire to provide comments or objections to the Planning Commission's recommendations, you may take your request to the County Board which has the final authority to act on the findings of the Planning Commission.
