Otto-Fisher buzzing with the Yellowjackets

Four months into his new role as assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) womens’ basketball team, former Glencoe-Silver Lake girls’ basketball coach Zach Otto-Fisher said he’s working tirelessly, but enjoying every minute of his new life.
“At first, I was working 85-95 hours a week,” he said. “I’m not sure if my body simply likes a lack of sleep.”
Otto-Fisher was hired by Superior on July 24 and was put right to work the next day scouting a tournament and recruiting for the Yellowjackets.
“It took me a while to get used to being a Yellowjacket and not a Panther anymore,” he said.
Recruiting is a big part of Otto-Fisher’s new position, with his duties carrying him around the upper Midwest watching games, taking notes and scouting players.
