Panther matmen third at Ogilvie
Competing in just its second meet since Dec. 13, the Glencoe-Silver Lake/Lester Prairie wrestling team finished third in the Ogilvie Lions Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 7.
“After having so much time off in the past month, it was good to see them get back at it,” coach Lance Wurm said.
Wurm noted that it took a little bit for the Panthers to “knock the rust off” as they competed for the first time since Dec. 22.
“After the first round, we got back to wrestling the way we should be wrestling,” he said.
GSL/LP finished with 142 points in taking third. St. Croix Falls won the meet with 208.5 points.
