Paulette Jungclaus, 69, of Burnsville

Paulette “Pauli” Margaret Jungclaus, 69, of Burnsville, formerly of Glencoe, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at her home in Burnsville.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 8, at the Glencoe Catholic Cemetery with the Rev. Anthony Stubeda officiating.
Paulette “Pauli” Margaret Jungclaus was born Dec. 23, 1948, in Glencoe, the daughter of Edgar and Lorraine (Pitt) Jungclaus. She was baptized as an infant and was confirmed in her faith as a youth at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Glencoe. She received her education in Glencoe, graduating with the Glencoe High School class of 1966. She furthered her education by attending Staples Vocational School, receiving a degree in industrial cooking and food management.
She made her home in Glencoe, Staples and then Burnsville for the last 25 years, residing with her sister Kay. She worked in numerous industries, including, banking, retail and food and beverage.
If you wanted to know anything about rock and roll, she was a modern-day Google.
Additionally, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, doing crossword puzzles and was a huge animal advocate. She had numerous pets during her lifetime, including a duck named Oscar who followed her through the streets of Glencoe. She loved her animals, but also loved the time spent with family and friends.
She will be missed, but left loved ones with many wonderful memories.
She is survived by her sisters, Kay Johnson of Burnsville and Jan Jungclaus of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother, Paul Jungclaus of Bend, Oregon; aunts, Lucy Anderson of Oceanside, California, and Alvina Pitt of Montevideo; special friend Roger Westerberg of Verndale; nephews, Ben Johnson (Roya), Michael Todd (Laurie) and Paul Brandon Jungclaus; nieces, Amee Jungclaus Escamilla (Michael) and Ginger Kearns; cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Lorraine Jungclaus.
