PENN TOWNSHIP
Annual Meeting and
Board of Canvass Meeting
The Citizens of the Township of Penn in the County of McLeod and State of Minnesota, who are qualified to vote at General Elections, are hereby notified that the ANNUAL TOWN MEETING for said Township will be held at the Penn Township Hall located at 15989 40th Street in said Township on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. The Annual Business Meeting will convene at 2 p.m. and the polls for the Annual Election will open immediately following the Annual Business Meeting but no later than 5 p.m. and remain open until 8 p.m. of the same day for the following purposes:
To elect one Supervisor for a term of three (3) years and one Clerk for a term of two (2) years. The Business Meeting will convene at 2 p.m. March 10, 2020 at the Township Hall for the purpose of setting a budget and to do any other business proper to be done at said meeting when convened.
The Board of Canvass will meet March 10, 2020 at 8 p.m. to certify the official election results.
In case of inclement weather, the Annual Meeting and Election and Board of Canvass will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 (the third Tuesday in March) at the same time and place.
