Rosemary Steinbrecher, 88, Glencoe

Rosemary Ann (Felepe) Steinbrecher, 88, of Glencoe, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, at Glencoe Regional Health Services Long Term Care in Glencoe.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Glencoe.
Rosemary Ann (nee Felepe) Steinbrecher was born June 11, 1929, in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of Walter and Katharina (Hueser) Felepe.
She attended a Glencoe parochial school and worked at the telephone company before she was united in marriage on Feb. 3, 1948, to Carl Steinbrecher by the Rev. A.J. Ziskovsky at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Glencoe. The couple made their home in Glencoe. Their marriage of 62 years was blessed by three children, Yvonne, Barb and David.
Mrs. Steinbrecher farmed alongside her husband north of Glencoe until 1990, when they retired. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, arts and crafts.
She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne (Phil) and Barbara (Bob); grandson, Daniel (Kelsey) Steinbrecher; great-granddaughter, Lilly Rose Steinbrecher; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; son, David; grandson, Andrew Jones; and brother, Sonny Felepe.
