Rural Glencoe shed destroyed by fire
Fire destroyed a shed and two vehicles on Harvest Road north of Glencoe Sunday night.
Glencoe Fire Chief Ron Grack said the department received the page at about 6:30 p.m., and was on scene for about three hours.
The shed was fully involved when the department arrived, Grack added. The approximately 30-foot by 40-foot shed was located at the Wayne and Kim Strong property. The shed was a wood-frame building lined with tin.
Grack said his department was aided by Silver Lake with a tanker and manpower, and water tanker trucks from Lester Prairie and Hutchinson.
Grack said a cause of the fire has yet to be determined, but added that the shed was not being heated when the fire occurred.
