For earth day, Girl Scouts from Troops 34390, 30855, 30856, and 33583 stepped up for the environment in Stewart and showed the world that Girl Scouts are committed to making the world and planet a better place. The scouts hosted a paper drive, collecting and sorting paper and cardboard on a truck provided by McLeod County Solid Waste. After a lunch and few minutes of play time at the park, the Scouts went along Highway 212 and did their semi-annual road ditch cleanup.
