Silver Lake City Council OKs PeopleService contract

Representatives from PeopleService, the company the City of Silver Lake contracts with for water and sanitary sewer maintenance, met with the Silver Lake City Council during its regular meeting on Monday night, March 18
Greg Stang and Lee Ortloff discussed the current operations within the city and presented a draft contract for continued services for 2020 and beyond.
Silver Lake first contracted with the company in the fall of 2016 on a temporary basis while both public works employees were out on medical leaves. The city has had a three-year contract with PeopleService since Jan. 1, 2017 which expires at the end of 2019.
