Skateboarder, car collide in Hutch

A skateboarder was taken to the Hutchinson hospital and later flown to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis after being struck by a car on Main Street (Highway 15) in Hutchinson at the intersection of Second Avenue N Saturday at about 1:30 a.m.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Ryan Cody Oelfke, 25, of Darwin, was southbound on Highway 15 and Jacob Tayler Clavette, 23, of San Antonio, Texas, entered Main Street from the west side of Second Avenue N and they collided.
Oelfke was not injured, nor was a passenger in his vehicle. Both were wearing seat belts, and both tested negative for alcohol. Clavette tested positive for alcohol.
Assisting at the accident were the Hutchinson Police Department and Allina Ambulance.
