Steven Rohling Sr., 53, Howard Lake

Steven William Rohling Sr., 53, of Howard, Lake, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2017.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Sept. 7, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul Schumacher as celebrant. Entombment followed the service at the Holy Trinity Niche.
Mr. Rohling was born June 8, 1964, in Winsted, the son of William and Martha T. (Kieser) Rohling. He graduated from Howard Lake High School in 1982.
On April 8, 1989, Steven W. Rohling and Karry A. Rohling were joined in holy marriage at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. God blessed their marriage with three children.
Mr. Rohling engaged in dairy farming in rural Howard Lake, Wright County, for many years. He also was formerly employed at Green Giant and hauled milk, both cans and bulk. He currently was the president of the Winsted Coop Board.
He loved his grandchildren! He also loved farming and dairy cattle. He did custom butchering, which he took over from his two uncles, Leonard and Alfred Kieser. He always lent a helping hand to everyone.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Karry A. Rohling; children, Julie Rohling, Karen (Jordan) Snell and Steven Rohling Jr.; grandchildren, Kayden, Kaitlyn and Jayde Snell; brother, Melvin Rohling; and other relatives on both his side and his wife’s side of the family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Rohling; and a sister, Carol Rohling.
