Teens injured in accident near Hutchinson May 31

Two teens, including one from Glencoe, were injured in a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 7 just west of Hutchinson Wednesday, May 31, at 1:43 p.m.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Andrew William Houston, 19, address unknown, was driving westbound on Highway 7 in a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee when it lost control and ran off the road down the embankment toward the Crow River.
Houston and a passenger, Dalton Randle Pouliot, 16, of Glencoe, were both taken by Allina Ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Both were wearing seat belts, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
Initial reports were that the vehicle was in the river, and Hutchinson Fire and Rescue responded with its boat and water rescue equipment. The department did not need to use the equipment.
Also assisting were the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office and Hutchinson Police Department.
