Tim Orth Jamboree set April 7

The 20th annual Tim Orth Memorial Foundation Basketball Jamboree will be held at the Glencoe-Silver Lake High School Gymnasium Saturday, April 7. The doors open at 4 p.m. with the games beginning at 5:30 p.m. Admission for adults is $8 and all students is $6.
Male and female area high school senior athletes will play two basketball games. Entertainment includes Hutch Tiger Special Olympics, Laketown Gymnasts, GSL Danceline, Kelly’s Dance Academy, Zumba by Jingle Therapy, Touch of Grace Dance, Encore School of Dance, three-point shooting contests, slam dunk contest, face painting, gathering with youngsters, plus more. There will be a special recipient ceremony between the girls’ and boys’ games.
The proceeds (raffles, concessions, admission, donations, and silent auction) from this event will be given to Lauren Ash, daughter of Mathew and Jodi Ash, Hutchinson; Taylor Draeger, daughter of Matt Draeger and Stef Butler, Litchfield; Evie Koehler, daughter of Emily and Jon Koehler, Lester Prairie; Charley LaFountaine, daughter of Sherilyn and Travis LaFountaine, Glencoe; Henry and Martin Marshall, sons of Morgan and Joe Marshall, Glencoe; Eli and Erin Martens, children of Allison Barkela and Cody Martens, Norwood Young America; Sean McGraw, son of Matthew and Holly McGraw, Litchfield; Leah Nelson, daughter of Chris and Maren Nelson, Carver; Grant Scotting, son of Troy and Katherine Scotting of Mayer and Michelle Sorensen, daughter of Dan and Jamie Sorensen, Waconia.
