Township annual meetings March 14

Annual township meetings and, in some cases, elections, are set for Tuesday, March 14.
Times and places for some area townships include:
• Bergen Township annual meeting, 8 p.m., Bergen Town Hall, 16595 Babcock Ave., Lester Prairie.
• Glencoe Township annual meeting, 1:30 p.m., Town Hall of Glencoe Township.
• Hale Township election for one supervisor and one treasurer, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; annaul meeting, 8:15 p.m.; Hale Town Hall, 9527 220th St., Silver Lake.
• Helen Township annual meeting, 7 p.m., Plato Fire Hall.
• New Auburn Township annual meeting, 7 p.m., New Auburn Town Hall, 5494 Fifth Ave., New Auburn.
• Penn Township annual meeting, 2 p.m.; election hours will be immediately following the close of the annual meeting, but no later than 5 p.m., until 8 p.m. Positions to be voted upon include supervisor and treasurer.
• Rich Valley Township annual meeting, 7 p.m., Rich Valley Town Hall, 16543 Ideal Ave., Glencoe.
• Round Grove Township annual meeting, 1:15 p.m.; election polls open upon adjournment of the meeting, but no later than 4 p.m., and will remain open until 8 p.m. Election is for one supervisor and one treasurer.
• Sumter Township annual meeting, 7 p.m., Brownton Community Center.
