Trailblazer Board continues to ponder workplace issues

Sand Creek Group, which Trailblazer Transit hired to help it deal with its workplace environment, has withdrawn its services.

And Trailblazer’s executive assistant, Cindy Posivio, has resigned.

Both items were discussed as the Joint Powers Board met Thursday morning.

McLeod County Commissioner Sheldon Nies asked that a follow-up on the management evaluation held at the Joint Powers Board May meeting be added to the agenda.

No specific reason was given as to why Sand Creek ended its agreement with Trailblazer.

McLeod County Commissioner Doug Krueger did say, though, that a trust issue was created when new human resources director Julie Latzig attended a closed session to discuss private data with Sand Creek and an attorney.

Krueger said he didn’t blame Latzig for attending the meeting, but that she should not have been there at the meeting.
