Trap scores improve in Week 2

The Glencoe-Silver Lake trap team resides in sixth place in the Class 4A, Conference 4 standings after two weeks of competition at the Winthrop Game Protective League. 
The Panthers posted a total team score of 5133.5 in Week 2, after recording a score of 3839 in the opening week and began Week 3 competition on Monday with a total points tally of 8972.5. 
McGregor-Aitkin-Cromwell is atop the conference with 14,067 points. GSL was in seventh after Week 1, but overtook Cretin-Derham Hall for sixth after outscoring the Raiders by nearly 600 points last week.
The Panthers’ top male shooter was Matthew Dahlke, who hit 47 of the 50 targets he fired upon. Morgan Bernstein was GSL’s top female shooter after hitting 33 of the 50 targets of which she took aim. Brandon Fronk joined the team’s 25-Straight Club after recording a perfect round in Week 2.
