Vehicle rolls on snowy road, 1 person injured

Regina Elizabeth Kruggel, 25, of Glencoe, was injured Monday evening in a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 212, just east of Plato. The accident was reported at 9:57 p.m.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Kruggel was eastbound on Highway 212 in a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox when she lost control of the vehicle, which entered a ditch and rolled. The road was covered with snow and ice at the time.
Kruggel was wearing her seat belt. She was taken by Allina Ambulance to Glencoe Regional Health Services for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Assisting at the accident were Plato Fire and Rescue, Norwood Young America Fire and Rescue and the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office.
