Vehicle slides off road, hits sign in Sibley County

On Sunday, Dec. 28, at 1:13 p.m., the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-vehicle, property damage crash on Sibley County Road 9, about one mile south of State Highway 19.
The driver, Joseph Sinniger of North Mankato, lost control of his 2010 Ford Fusion while entering into an “S” curve. The vehicle slid off the roadway and hit a sign. Slush on the roadway was a contributing factor, according to the sheriff’s office.
Sinniger was wearing his seat belt and was not injured. There was moderate damage to the vehicle.
