According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Glen A. Pettis, 51, of Hector, was eastbound on Highway 212 and a 1996 Buick LeSabre, driven by Alice Donnay, 77, of Glencoe, was southbound on Morningside Drive when they collided in the intersection.
Pettis and two passengers in his vehicle, Anita Pettis, 40, and Makala Pettis, 5, of Hector, were all taken to the Glencoe hospital for treatment of injuries, as were Alice Donnay and a passenger in her vehicle, Ivan Donnay, 98, of Glencoe.
All five people were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the accident, according to the State Patrol.
