Vehicles collide north of New Auburn

Two people had minor injuries but declined medical attention after a two-vehicle crash on Sibley County Road 13, about five miles east of New Auburn, on Saturday at about 4:15 p.m.
According to the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office, Matthew John Meffert, 25, of Arlington, was driving north on County Road 13, as was a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Fred Hernandez, 33, of New Auburn. The vehicles collided as the Malibu was making a turn.
Meffert and a passenger, Lisa Kae Melhop, 51, of Arlington, both had minor injuries but declined medical attention.
