Nelson submits resignation from Chamber

David Nelson, president of the Glencoe Area Chamber of Commerce the past two years, has submitted his resignation effective March 31, 2015.

In his resignation, Nelson confirmed his desire to transition back to a position in finance, business and economic development, as well as return to his primary home in the Mankato area.

The Chamber Board of Directors will meet Wednesday, Dec. 3, to discuss the job description and set a recruitment timeline.

The preliminary plan is to announce the job search in mid-December, with applications due in January and interviews commencing in February.
