County Board to consider 5-year highway plan

The McLeod County Board of Commissioners will consider a new five-year highway plan at its Feb. 17 meeting. The plan will cover the construction years of 2015 through 2019.

The board also will consider authorizing the letting o bids for the 2015 summer highway projects.

Also on the agenda will be a request to authorize the advertising of bids for the proposed jail renovation and courthouse security project, among several items.

The meeting is set for Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 9 a.m., in the commissioners' room in the lower level of the courthouse.
