The Glencoe-Silver Lake trapshooting team wrapped up its regular season last week, finishing sixth in the Class 4A – Conference 4 standings. The Panthers finished Week 5 with 3,194.5 points, giving them 21,353.5 on the spring.
GSL came in just 201.5 points behind fifth-place Cretin-Derham Hall in the final point tally. The Panthers finished 799 points ahead of Sartell. McGregor-Aitkin-Cromwell won the conference with 35,806 points.
Jessica Alsleben was GSL’s top individual in Week 5, recording a score of 46 after joining the 25-straight club with a perfect second round on Thursday, May 28. Katie Collins recorded a score of 41, while Morgan Bernstein and Haley Kirchoff each scored a 32.
Alex Ide led the way for the boys, firing a 43. Brandon Fronk and Seth Schuette both hit 38 of their 50 targets.
