Phylliss Hager
Phylliss June Hager, 88, formerly of the Glencoe-Silver Lake area, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, in Apple Valley.
A prayer service was held Thursday, Dec. 10, at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake with the Rev. Carol Chmielewski officiating. Interment was Friday, Dec. 11, at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Silver Lake.
Phylliss Hager was born April 22, 1927, in Rich Valley Township, McLeod County, the daughter of Philip and Anna Hepner.
On June 23, 1948, Phylliss J. Hepner and Duane H. Hager were joined in holy marriage.
Mrs. Hager enjoyed traveling in the United States, and their retirement home in the north woods. She also was an excellent cook and enjoyed reading.
She is survived by a son, Mark (Lynda) Hager of Bovey; a son-in-law, Jim Richter; eight grandchildren, Rachel, Andrew, Sarah, Jenna, Daniel, Erin, Matthew and Shane; four great-grandchildren, Lydia, Evan, Alice and Michael; a brother, Arnie Hepner; two sisters, Elvera Hofmann and Doris Heil; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane H. Hager; a son, Michael Hager; a daughter, Lynn Richter; and by her parents.
