The Glencoe-Silver Lake/Lester Prairie wrestling team wrapped up 2015 in familiar form, earning a split in a triangular meet held at Lester Prairie High School on Tuesday, Dec. 22.
The Panthers shut out on of their guests, blanking Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted 71-0. However, GSL/LP couldn’t make it a clean sweep, losing 46-21 to Delano.
The win over HL-W-W contained only four contested matches. The visitors forfeited away eight matches, with two other matches being zeroed out due to double forfeit.
Among the four contests, GSL/LP won three by fall and another by a technical fall.
Aaron Donnay continued his sterling season form by pinning Cameron Mogenson in 3 minutes, 52 seconds at 145 pounds.
