Severe weather sirens will be tested today, as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week.
Official say it’s designed to remind Minnesotans about the threats of severe weather that can occur during the summer months.
Tornado drills are scheduled today (Thursday) throughout Minnesota. At 1:55 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. outdoor warning sirens and NOAA weather radios will sound for a simulated tornado warning.
