A Glencoe couple were treated for minor injuries at Glencoe Regional Health Services following a two-vehicle accident Saturday at about 9:20 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 212 and Dairy Avenue, east of Glencoe.
Injured were Arnold Brinkmann, 61, and Jane Brinkmann, 60, of Glencoe.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the Brinkmanns were eastbound on Highway 212 in a 2013 Dodge Avenger and Marlys Farber, 78, of Green Isle, was northbound on Dairy Avenue in a 2014 Buick Encore when the vehicles collided. Farber was not injured.
All three were wearing seat belts, and air bags were deployed in both vehicles. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the state patrol.
Assisting at the accident were the Glencoe Police Department, McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Plato Fire and Rescue and Allina Ambulance.
