NOTICE OF HEARING
City of Glencoe
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the city council of the City of Glencoe, Minnesota will meet at the Glencoe City Hall at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017, to consider adopting and approving the wastewater treatment facility upgrades identified in the facility plan entitled “Wastewater Treatment Facilities Plan, Glencoe Wastewater Treatment Facility” dated February 2017.
The proposed wastewater treatment upgrades will consist of:
٠ Improvement to the main wastewater lift station
٠ New preliminary treatment building
٠ Demolition of trickling filters and intermediate clarifiers
٠ Improvements to activated sludge system
٠ Addition of chemical phosphorus removal
٠ Improvements to existing final clarifiers
٠ New filters and UV disinfection
٠ Improvements to solids handling process
All residents and property owners within the City of Glencoe are encouraged to attend.
