Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash west of Brownton on Highway 212 Sunday at about 6 p.m.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2014 Ford Edge, driven by Collin Patrick Brehmer, 26, of Hutchinson, was westbound on Highway 212 and had slowed to turn left onto Ulm Avenue when it was rear-ended by a 2002 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Josh Phillip Crooks, 28, of Morton.
Brehmer and a passenger in his vehicle, 25-year-old Ashley Jo Rickheim of rural Stewart, were taken to Hutchinson Health for treatment of injuries and later released.
Neither Crooks nor a passenger in his vehicle, 28-year-old Alisha Mae Crooks of Morton, were injured.
All occupants were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the accident, according to the state patrol.
Assisting at the accident were the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Brownton Fire Department and Allina Ambulance.
