Glencoe City Council authorized drafting a development agreement with McLeod Cooperative Power Association to sell land in the east industrial park in order for the co-operative to build a new corporate campus east of Midwest Porcine.

The co-op board offered $350,000 for about six acres of industrial park land, but also requested the city purchase an additional three acres of adjacent property from a private landowner and include that in the sale as well. The total would be 9.3 acres. The additional three acres could cost about $45,000.
