A few local races have developed for the Nov. 6 election. The filing period for local municipal and school board seats closed on Aug. 14. Jason Lindeman, of Brownton, has filed for re-election for the Glencoe-Silver Lake School. Valarie Bandas, Andrea Janke, James Entinger, Jon Lemke, all of Glencoe, and Alicia Luckhardt have also filed for spots on the board. The positions are currently held by Lindeman, Anne Twiss and Clark Christenson
Glencoe City Councilor At-Large Al Robeck will face Mike Drew in November. Council member John Schrupp has filed for re-election in precinct two and Paul Lemke has filed to run for the council position in the third precinct. The seat is currently held by Gary Ziemer. Silver Lake Mayor Bruce Bebo has filed for re-election for the two-year term for mayor. He will face Dorothy “Dot” Butler in the November election. Council member Josh Mason has filed for re-election. Chris Penaz and Josh Winfrey have also filed for two open four-year terms on the city council.
