Several members of the Glencoe Karate Club (GKC) participated in the Hutchinson Fun Outdoor Camp and Tournament Aug. 17-18.
Attending members camped out at Masonic West River Park Friday night before beginning their Saturday morning with a 7:00 a.m. run, followed by training.
After breakfast, competing members took part in a life-size checkers game where players had to spar to acquire their square.
After checkers, the tournament began, with seven GKC members competing.
