A proposal for a Kwik Trip convenience store will make its next stop tomorrow evening, Aug. 30, at a Glencoe Planning Commission meeting.
The commission will conduct a public hearing on the proposal at 7 p.m. The public hearing is the only item on the commission's agenda.
The proposal calls for a Kwik Trip convenience store on land east of Harpel Bros. Chevrolet-Buick dealership on Morningside Drive north of Highway 212. Harpel Bros. owns an eight-plus acre parcel between 11th Street and Highway 212. The plan calls for about 2.87 acres to be developed into a Kwik Trip with the remainder of the land staying as a vacant outlot for future development.
Access to the convenience store will be via North Falcon Avenue off Highway 212 and Morningside Drive.
