After coming up just short of qualifying for state in a 42-41 overtime loss to Jordan on a snow covered field in Rockford last November, the Glencoe-Silver Lake football team returns to the green grass of home this Friday night against Foley. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Panthers opened up their 9-2 2017 campaign with a 42-17 win at Foley on Sept. 1 of last season. The Falcons finished 2017 with a 2-7 mark.
GSL opens this season with two straight home games. After Foley, the Panthers are scheduled to host Watertown-Mayer at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7.
