Commissioners Joe Nagel, Rich Pohlmeier, Doug Krueger, Paul Wright and Ron Shimanski were present.
Krueger moved, Wright seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve an agenda revision under Recorder’s Office, Item A, adjusting the total cost to $15,500.00.
Wright moved, Pohlmeier seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve the consent agenda.
Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve the payment of bills totaling $155,009.00.
Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve a rental agreement with Mark Ahlbrecht (Lester Prairie, Minnesota) for property rent of $140.00 per acre for 7.5 acres of property located North and West of the Health & Human Services building on Ford Avenue in Glencoe, Minnesota effective Crop Year 2019.
Wright moved, Pohlmeier seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve contract with TriMin Systems, Inc. (Roseville, Minnesota) for TriMin Vitals Browser Based/Platform Independent Software, Installation and Training, and Maintenance Agreement for a total of $15,500.00 with funds coming from the County Recorder’s Technology Fund (25-101).
Krueger moved, Wright seconded and motion carried unanimously to approve the contract with Hutchinson Video Network (HCVN) to broadcast board meetings on YouTube within 72 hours of each County Board meeting for a cost of $10.00 per meeting for a total yearly cost of $270.00 with funds coming from the IT budget account (01-065).
Wright moved, Pohlmeier seconded, and motion carried unanimously to purchase a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan designated for Social Services from Dodge of Burnsville (Burnsville, Minnesota) via State Contract for $23,236.31 with funding coming from the County Wide Central Services Account (01-076).
Wright moved, Krueger seconded, and motion carried unanimously to sell the 2006 Dodge Caravan through Fahey Sales.
Krueger moved, Shimanksi seconded, and motion carried unanimously to hire Foster Mechanical (Hutchinson, Minnesota) to replace the existing chiller unit for $62,197.92 with funds coming from the Designated Capital Assets account (25-807).
Kruger moved, Pohlmeier seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve AKO Electric (Glencoe, Minnesota) for electrical work to be done on the replacement chiller unit not to exceed $6,548.00 with funds coming from the Designated Capital Assets account (25-807).
Pohlmeier moved, Wright seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve the proposal from Karr Tuckpointing Company (Vinton, Iowa) for $56,314.00 with funds coming from the Designated Capital Assets Account (25-807).
Wright moved, Pohlmeier seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve contract with Schwickert’s (Mankato, Minnesota) for an annual fee of $5,758.00 with funds coming from the Fairgrounds budget (01-117).
Nagel moved, Shimanski seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve a 2019 purchase of a 2020 Mack Tandem Truck Chassis for $119,317.00 from Nuss Truck and Equipment (Roseville, Minnesota) via State Contract with funds coming from the Highway Equipment Maintenance account (03-340).
Krueger moved, Pohlmeier seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve a 2019 purchase of a Truck Equipment Package for $119,966.00 from Towmaster, Inc. (Litchfield, Minnesota) via State Contract with funds coming from the Highway Equipment Maintenance account (03-340).
Shimanski moved, Kruger seconded, and motion carried unanimously to approve the printing of the 2017 Financial Statement by McLeod Publishing for the amount of $800.00 with funds coming from the Board of Commissioners budget (01-005).
Pohlmeier moved, Wright seconded, and motion carried unanimously to recess at 9:53 a.m. until the next County Board meeting to be held on November 20, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the Glencoe City Center Ballroom at 1107 11th St E, Glencoe, Minnesota.
