The Glencoe-Silver Lake trapshooting team sent two of its members to the USA High School Clay Target League National Championship in Mason, Michigan on July 11-14.
Last year was the first-ever national championship held for high school athletes.
This year’s event was once again hosted by the Michigan Trapshooters Association in Mason, just 20 miles south of Lansing, and features 44 trap fields.
Both Katie Collins and Norique Stuewe participated in the individual competition where they competed against 1,800 athletes from across the nation.
