Entering the abridged Crow River Valley League season, a fast start is just what the Brownton Bruins are working to accomplish. The team enjoyed a nice win Sunday against a tough opponent.
The Bruins lost their opening game Friday night at home and then rallied to defeat the Carver Black Sox.
The Bruins will head east tonight, June 24, to face Waconia at 7:30 p.m. in Waconia, thanks to city council approval to use the field. The Bruins will be in Hamburg Friday night, 7:30.
